#ad This cute digital announcement was created by Paperless Post.
Hello friends! I’ve been quietly transitioning for some time into a blog that focuses on simplifying so we can learn to have more joy in food moments. I really appreciate you coming back often to check out what is new, your encouraging comments and overall support of all things related to food happiness. Thank you!
Simplifying to me means focusing on the simplicity of fresh ideas when it comes to the exploration of food, eating and enjoying life. As you know, I’ve been devoted to conveying a sense of joy, curiosity and wonder of all the touch points of eating coupled with a fun and upbeat tone since I started this blog in 2009. That won’t change. I’ve always been focused on eating well as I know you are, too.
So, what WILL change?
- nwafoodie now automatically redirects to thejoyofeatingwell. This means you do nothing on your part whenever you want to access old recipes or content. Seamless!
- NWAFOODIE will still be active as nwafoodie on Instagram and have a dedicated page on thejoyofeatingwell.com so my local peeps can stay in-the-foodie-know. Take a look at the menu on this blog page. See? There’s nwafoodie as a page link. Click on it and you will see all posts that are Arkansas-specific.
- I have created a new thejoyofeatingwell on Instagram that will be focused on all things related to simplifying so we can have more joy in food moments. Let’s follow each other!
During the month of January, you will slowly see me updating this site and social with new blog headers and photos that reflect thejoyofeatingwell. Overall content will be more streamlined (I am so excited about this!) and geared toward helping health-conscious foodies like myself who are caught up in the busyness of life to understand that eating well can easily be accomplished by keeping it simple so that preparing and serving food becomes one of our most joyful pleasures of living.
Of course, I will continue to have a secondary focus on Arkansas. I will continue helping local foodies explore their backyard and understand that they don’t have to live in a big city to have great resources at their fingertips so that they can be in-the-foodie-know.
I had fun playing around with the digital stationary options at Paperless Post to come up with a playful announcement! If you are a subscriber to nwafoodie, you will receive this cute interactive digital ecard announcing the upcoming changes to this blog. Beyond this announcement, I look forward to using Paperless Post for special events such as Thanksgiving, Memorial Day and July 4thbarbecue occasions. There are many options available and everything is customizable with fonts, colors and designs. Well, I say customizable in the easiest sense. I am no designer and Paperless Post made the process super easy. Simply purchase digital “coins” and input the email address to whomever you want to send your flyer, card, invitation or announcement to. Simple.
Do you have any questions that I can answer for you?
